This room is named for Sam Houston, the first President of the Republic of Texas and close friend of Benjamin Epperson, the builder of the house. The furnishings in this room are consistent with the period of the house.

The Sam Houston Suite is 380 sq. ft., furnished with a king-sized, four poster bed and includes a sitting area with settee.
The Suite is located on the Ground Floor.
All guest suites are located behind the historic home, in the Carriage House.

“This was our first time to Jefferson and we are not sure we can top it. The House of the Seasons was magnificent and faithfully restored. We loved the guest only tour of the cupola. Shirley is a compendium of knowledge not only of the house but of the town, gardening, restoration and paint choices. You get the picture. Breakfast was scrumptious. The room was spacious. Our main problem was slowing down to a small town, East Texas pace. Once we did the ambience and atmosphere refreshed and recharged us.”

“One of the best Bed and Breakfast experiences we have had so far! Early anniversary trip (13 Years). So relaxing and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable, the Jacuzzi awesome, the hot shower ahhhh. Breakfast? Wow! Banana bread, fruit, yogurt, orange juice, delicious French toast, basil eggs and spicy sausage. Definitely won’t leave hungry or wanting for anything. Thanks to Shirley’s incredible hospitality. We also enjoyed the many snacks in the room and the healthy oatmeal cookies.
