Lady Bird Suite

This room is named in honor of Mrs. Lyndon B. Johnson one of America’s greatest First Ladies and an old friend of the Collins family, who owns the House. She was named Lady Bird by the house workers at her fathers plantation at nearby Karnack and attended Jefferson High School. She visited the House in 1976, and again in 1982 and has been an ardent supporter of historic preservation and wildflower beautification.

Thank you so much for an awesome breakfast. We both loved the food, room was wonderful. The house is totally amazing. I’m so glad we stayed here for our 9th Anniversary. We have both been to Jefferson quite a few times and always wanted to stay at “The House of the Seasons” so here we are. All I can say is “WOW”.
To Shirley, Everyone at the Seasons and the People of Jefferson,

I always enjoy coming to Jefferson and staying in your B&B. What a peaceful blessing it is. This time I went on a walk around the area and it was so refreshing. The service is always excellent and Shirley you the girl. I love your upbeat attitude. The food and service are #1.
I really enjoyed my 2 nights here in such a comfortable room and am looking forward to touring the home after breakfast. Our breakfast yesterday was fabulous, so I’m sure todays will get us started great too! The grounds are beautiful, too, and are certainly enhanced by cute, beautiful Sadie and her mistress Shirley, such a thoughtful hostess!
