The Sam Houston Suite


This room is named for Sam Houston, the first President of the Republic of Texas and close friend of Benjamin Epperson, the builder of the house. Also, its furnishings are consistent with the period of the house. As shown, this is the only room featuring a king-size sleigh bed of the Victorian era. The room also includes a jacuzzi with room for two, marble shower, and a sitting area. Along with the room is a telephone, and cable, and the room also features original Sam Houston memorabilia.
