The Lady Bird Suite


This room is named in honor of Mrs. Lyndon B. Johnson one of America's greatest First Ladies and an old friend of the Collins family, who owns the House. She was named Lady Bird by the house workers at her fathers plantation at nearby Karnack and attended Jefferson High School. She visited the House in 1976, and again in 1982 and has been an ardent supporter of historic preservation and wildflower beautification. The Lady Bird Suite has a king-size bed, jacuzzi, and a double marble shower. The room has a sitting area as well as cable, telephone, and internet access.
